Call for Posters

In this year’s SLSA conference, we are encouraging high-quality research posters in any of the existing streams and/or the conference theme. Posters reporting research findings as well as methodological and substantive aspects of ongoing projects are welcome.

We would like to open this call for posters widely to PhD students, early career academics and established scholars, and invite all delegates to consider presenting a poster in addition to or in lieu of presenting a paper at the 2015 SLSA conference.
Please note that only posters authored by post-graduate students are eligible to enter the poster competition.

The 2015 SLSA Postgraduate Conference (Birmingham, 8-9 January) will be running conference poster sessions on guidance on how to design conference posters.

The selection panel will review posters entering the poster competition during the last day of the main conference (time to be confirmed) and the poster winner will be announced during the closing session. We encourage presenting authors to be prepared to explain their work orally to the panel. The panel will accept recommendations of posters from attendees and delegates.

Poster proposals are due by Friday 6th March, 2015.

Proposals should contain the following:
-Title
-Abstract (max. 250 words)
-Author’s (and co-authors’) name and surname
-Affiliation
-Email address
-Postal address
