Warwick Global Development Society

Hello everybody, welcome to the Warwick Global Development Society (WGDS)!!!

The Warwick Global Development Society was established in 2002 with the cooperation of all those taking the core module (Theories and Issues in International Development) of the MA/Dip. in Globalisation and Development in PaIS. Undergraduates are, however, most welcome to participate in WGDS activities.

The WGDS is a forum for debate and discourse for anyone with an interest in the Development field. We hope to further understanding and awareness of development theory and practice through a programme of talks and events covering a wide variety of issues, from global governance, to the role of TNCs, to the gendered dimensions of development.
