How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

PAIS Film Club Tie-In Screening: Three Identical Strangers
MS.01

Dr Marcos Estrada has kindly invited the PAIS Film Club to extend an invitation to anyone interested in ethics in research, to join him for PO102's special screening of Tim Wardle's excellent documentary 'Three Identical Strangers', on Tuesday 14TH January at 7pm in MS.01.

Released to critical acclaim in 2018, the documentary tells the real-life story of three identical triplets who were separated as infants and adopted by different families as part of a secret 'nature vs nurture' research study in the 1960s. It explores their personal journeys as they discover that they have siblings, and shines a light on the human cost of experiments done in the name of political research.

This should be of particular interest to anyone concerned about the ethical implications of controversial research methods, and offers a great chance for students to take a break for an afternoon between exams.
