Ben Gannon is a Teaching Fellow in US Politics and US Foreign Policy for the academic year 2018-2019. He received a BA (Hons) in Politics from Durham University in 2013 and completed his MA in International Relation at the University of Warwick in 2014, before undertaking a PhD in PAIS on the subject of Hispanic American elite engagement with US foreign policy.

In 2018-2019, Ben is the Programme Director for the MA in US Foreign Policy, as well as undertaking several teaching roles: he is the module director for the undergraduate modules PO207 ‘Politics of the USA’ and PO379 ‘US Foreign Policy’, as well as for the postgraduate modules PO966 ‘Concepts and Theories of International Security’ and PO983 ‘United States Foreign Policy and National Security’. He also contributes lectures for the first year module PO131 ‘World Politics’.

In addition, he is the 2018-2019 Coordinator for the PAIS Film Club.
