Elizabeth Finneron-Burns is a Teaching Fellow in Political Theory and module director for PO201 - Political Theory from Hobbes.

Elizabeth obtained her DPhil at the University of Oxford in 2016. Prior to that she obtained a BA in Political Studies from Queen's University in Canada and an MSc in Political Theory from the LSE before working for several years as a policy advisor for the government of Ontario. Prior to joining PAIS, she was a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Futures Studies in Stockholm. Elizabeth’s primary research interest is our obligations to future generations, including who and how many people we create, and what kind of lives we leave them.
