Sam Fry

My research topic is the political economy of UK-China economic relations 1997-2015. The thesis seeks to explain the evolution of relations during that period using a modified version of Robert D. Putnam’s two-level game model. My research is situated in international political economy and makes use of literature on UK politics and Chinese politics. My supervisors are Prof Shaun Breslin and Dr Chris Rogers.

This year, I am teaching three seminar groups on the first year undergraduate module World Politics (PO131), having previously taught on the module in 2016/17. My advice and feedback hour is Tuesday 10-11 in D1.31.
