Fay is an ESRC-funded PhD candidate in political theory, working on a set of ethical and moral issues concerning psychologically-informed behaviour change policy. She is supervised by Professor Adam Swift and Dr. Matthew Clayton. In general, her research interests focus at the intersection of political philosophy, psychology, and public policy. Fay is also currently working with neuroscientists and neuroethicists in North America on research that seeks to offer a more empirically-grounded philosophical account of personal autonomy.
