Honorary Research Fellow
Dr. Annamarie Bindenagel Šehović, is an Honorary Research Fellow at PAIS at the University of Warwick. Prior to that she was Research Fellow at PAIS, and participant in the Horizon2020, EL-CSID project, where her research focused on tracking knowledge transfer on the individual, state and global levels in the provision of health(care). She and Franklyn Lisk have a forthcoming book, Pandemic Response: New Thinking in Global Health Policy and Governance (Routledge, 2019), based on their findings. She was also Acting Professor, Chair of International Relations at the University of Potsdam, Germany in the winter term 2017/2018. Her research overall focuses on state and human security, with an increasing bifocal focus on health (in)securities and geopolitical change.
Previously, Dr. Šehović was a lecturer in international relations at the University of Erfurt, Germany, and as the founder of Bindenagel Consulting, cc, spent years in South Africa working with the African Institute of Corporate Citizenship, BenchMarks Foundation, Daimler, the University of Pretoria's Center for the Study of AIDS, and others. She earned her PhD at the FU Berlin in 2012; her MA in Public Policy at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2006, and her BA (honors) at the University of Notre Dame in the U.S.A. in 2003.
