Federico's research is at the intersection of comparative politics and political sociology. His project revolves around authoritarian governance and the use of terror by authoritarian states. More specifically, Federico focuses on the links between regime legitimacy and repression, especially in the context of Argentina's last military dictatorship (1976-1983). Within the FRAMENET project, he is involved in the case of carbon disclosure.



Durel, Laurie

Laurie Durel

Doctoral researcher, Université Laval, Canada

Laurie's research focuses on the interaction between international economic law and international environmental governance. More specifically, Laurie is interested in the nexus between environmental measures and international trade agreements, especially regarding greenhouse-gas taxes.
Within the FRAMENET project, she is involved in the case on domestic climate measures and international competitiveness.

Gosselin, Laure

Laure Gosselin

Doctoral researcher, Université Laval, Canada

Laure's thesis aims to understand how discursive structure and dynamics impact the evolution of regime complexes. Her research focuses on the interplay between the governance of climate change, agriculture and international trade.
Within the FRAMENET project, she is involved in the case on trade in agricultural products (EU-Mercosur) and the climate impact of agriculture.

Quintin, Manuel

Manuel Quintin

MA Researcher, Université Laval, Canada
Manuel’s research interests revolve around the cultural and societal ramifications of political communication. More precisely, he is interested in the increasing usage of marketing strategies in political communications and its social and political implications. Within the FRAMENET project, he is involved in the case on facial recognition technology.

Roehrig, Sofie

Sofie Roehrig

Doctoral Researcher, TU Dresden, Germany

Sofie's research is at the intersection of International Relations, Public Policy, Conflict, and Development. She works on international relations and public policy, discourse analysis, feminist, post-colonial and non-anthropocentric perspectives, global migration, international migration policy and law, rebel and hybrid governance, and women and gender.
Within the FRAMENET project, she is involved in the cases on European Migrant Crisis and modern slavery.

Weickardt Soares, Maria

Maria Weickardt Soares

Doctoral researcher, TU Dresden, Germany

Maria's research sheds light on the entanglements of international organisations and their framing of health inequalities as security threats. She is particularly interested in the North-South power divide and norm collisions in global health.
Within the FRAMENET project, she is involved in the cases on health data sharing and biobanking.
