Project overview

This project explores how labour market policymakers should respond to the threats and opportunities associated with technological change. As part of this, Tom Parr will use the tools of political philosophy to address a variety of labour market trends, including those relating to automation, work hours, the gig economy, the gender pay gap, and employer supervision. The project will culminate in a monograph on The Future of Work, which is under contract with Oxford University Press.
