Workshop on Social Rights discusses Kimberley Brownlee's 'Social Rights'

The Workshop on Social Rights (23 September) discussed Kimberley Brownlee's forthcoming book Social Rights (Oxford University Press). Speakers included Clare Chambers (Senior Lecturer in Political Philosophy, University of Cambridge); Rowan Cruft (Senior Lecture in Philosophy, University of Stirling);· James Nickel (Professor of Philosophy and Law, University of Miami); Fay Niker (ESRC funded PhD candidate in Political Theory, University of Warwick); Tom Parr (Assistant Professor in Political Theory, Government, University of Essex); and Kimberley herself, and and sessions were chaired by Clare Heyward (PAIS, Warwick); Adam Slavny (Law, Warwick); Laura Valentini (Politics, LSE); Chris Nathan (PAIS, Warwick); and Felix Pinkert (Philosophy, Warwick). The workshop was funded by the Warwick Humanities Research Centre, the Independent Social Research Foundation, and the Warwick Philosophy Department.
