Linda Luckhaus is senior lecturer in law in the School of Law at the University of Warwick. She has published extensively in the area of social security, EU law and gender discrimination and undertaken research studies on these topics for the ILO, the European Commission and the UK Department of Work and Pensions. Recent publications include 'Equal treatment, social protection and income security for women' in Loutfi, M. Women, Gender and Work, What is equality and how do we get there? International Labour Office, Geneva 2001 and Serving the Market and People's Needs, the Impact of European Union Law on Pensions in the UK (1996). Her current research focuses on pensions world-wide, particular areas of interest being the interaction between the global and the regional in the development of pension investment regulation and the emergence of innovatory legal forms serving as pension investment vehicles and the implications of these for corporate governance.
