She is currently engaged in two projects: the first concerns the interface between the economics of international trade and international trade law, the second examines the role of domestic political cycles in international negotiations.
Paola holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Bologna, an M.A. in International Relations from the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University, and an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Warwick.
