Mette Ekeroth is an MPhil/PhD candidate in the Department of Politics and International Studies. She holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and an M.Sc. in International Relations from IDSS, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She has previously worked as a researcher at the Singapore Institute of International Affairs and is currently co-managing editor of the journal Global Governance.
Mette’s research interests are in post-structuralism with particular reference to the concept of hegemony and its application within the field of international relations. Her PhD focuses on the neo-liberal development discourse, the relationship between truth/power and the prospects for reform within the WTO. Her supervisor is Professor Richard Higgott.
