Hammed Roohani is running a one year long research programme at the Centre for the Study of Globalization and Regionalization. His research focuses on the ways that joining the multilateral trading system through accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) is likely to affect the business environment of small and medium sized enterprises of the acceding countries. He is particularly interested in individual as well as collective role of the governments and SMEs in achieving national development objectives. The research is supervised by Prof. Jan Aart Scholte
Mr Roohani holds a MBA in International Marketing from the Institute for Management and Planning Studies and an Advanced Degree in International Trade Negotiations (with focus on WTO negotiations) from the Institute for Trade Studies and Research , I.R.Iran.
