Denise Hewlett is Secretary to Professor Richard Higgott, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research. Denise is also Programme Coordinator of GARNET, an EU-funded FP6 Network of Excellence on ‘Global Governance, Regionalisation and Regulation: the Role of the EU’ comprised of 42 universities and research centres across Europe (2005-2010). She joined CSGR in April 1999, then moved to Garnet in June 2005. Her main duties include providing secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Scientist and Programme Manager to ensure the smooth running of the project, daily administration of all the project’s finances and assisting with the Mobility Workpackage.
