Qu Bing is a Research Fellow at the Institute of European Studies, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR). He received his M.A. from Nanjing University, majoring in British history. Since he joined CICIR in 2005, he has participated in many research projects and published in academic outlets like Contemporary International Relations and Chinese Journal of European Studies. His research area covers UK politics and foreign policy, UK-China relations and EU institutions. During his visit at CSGR, he aims to undertake the project ‘European Parliament's new powers under the Lisbon Treaty and the implications for China'.
