Günter Metzges is visiting as a Marie Curie Fellow at the CSGR and a PhD candidate at the Institut for International and Intercultural Studies at the University of Bremen. He is supervised by professor Michael Zürn. His dissertation deals with the impact of non-state actors on international decision making. It focuses on two negotiation processes located at the Organisation for Economic and Cooperative Development (OECD) – 1. the negotiations over a Multilateral Agreement on Investment (MAI), and 2. the 1997 OECD Bribery Convention. He has previously lectured on nongovernmental organisations in world politics, and about global governance in general. He is involved with Politikon, an internet based and nationwide learning space for students of political science.
