Elizabeth Sidiropoulos has a M.A. (with distinction) in International Relations from the University of the Witwatersrand. Prior to joining SAIIA her previous experience was as Research Director at the South African Institute of Race Relations and editor of the South Africa Survey.
Form 1999 to 2005 she was Director of Studies at SAIIA. She was briefly the editor-in-chief of the South African Journal of International Affairs and the South African Yearbook of International Affairs. She has held the position of National Director of SAIIA since 2005.
