The following three slide shows give a photographic montage of the various stages to distilling Feni.
The first slide show focuses on the pre-distilling processes of harvesting cashew apples, nut separation and preparation of the cashew apple liquor.
The second slide show focuses on the distilling of this cashew apple liquor after it ferments. The images are of the various instruments, materials and techniques of Feni distilling - which relates to our observation that cultural practices vary in time and space.
The third and final slide show concerns itself with post-distilling activities like the bottling and blending of Feni and sites of consuming Feni.
