This webinar brings together scholars, practitioners, and activists from across West Africa to reflect on the contemporary politics of democracy in the region. We focus in particular on presidential third terms, popular protests, and human rights. Cutting across these themes we have a central concern with the dynamics of power, voice, and knowledge which characterise the West African political space.
