BA Politics 2015
It may sound cliché, but when I first looked around Warwick on a University Open Day, I knew this was the only place I wanted to study. The enthusiasm of the PAIS staff and the sheer breadth of subjects available was impressive and it hasn’t disappointed since I entered the programme.
What I love about PAIS is being able to walk down the corridors and recognise names of academics you have just quoted in an essay or seen on the news the night before. The course has challenged the way I view the world and improved my skills academically, but also prepared me for the workplace.
The opportunities at Warwick are amazing. Overall, the facilities on campus are beyond compare, but there is still the choice of exploring the wider area when desiring a break from campus. From a range of world class speakers to the variety of societies open to join, there is something out there for everyone. One of the highlights of my first year was visiting Parliament with the Politics Society and being elected as social secretary of the society.
