PPE with Philosophy and Economics will enable you to extend your proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative skills. You will enjoy a diversity of module choices from our Department of Philosophy's strengths in moral, political, continental philosophy, aesthetics and Philosophy of Mind while also having the ability to continue your studies in key areas of Economics. An ideal way to follow your interests and strengths while clearly demonstrating to employers your ability to reason, research, analyse and apply Economic skills.

Example module:
Health Economics The aims of this module are to provide students with an overview about the use of economic analysis in major aspects of health insurance and health care. This module considers different approaches to economic evaluation of health care and the measurement and valuation of health. You will examine the supply, demand, and constraints associated with health care provision. You will learn to evaluate different approaches to the production, funding, and distribution of health care using health economics and econometrics techniques gain a clear understanding about the importance of health and health care for the successful functioning of the economy. |
