Women and Community Seminar Series 2007 - 2009

This seminar series emerges from the need for feminists to engage with the constantly changing roles of women in the community. The seminars aim to bridge the gap between feminists working in academia and feminists working in the community to create a space to debate and critically analyse the categorisations of women in the community. It will also aim to evaluate the concept of community itself across a variety of cultural locations.
