If I could bottle this feeling...

16:29, Tue 26 Jan 2016

This paper was presented on February 2, 2011 at a seminar hosted by the Centre for the Study of Women and Gender at the University of Warwick. The paper explores some of the pleasures of Channel swimming, but also identifies some of the social risks which stem from its relative excesses - what Ewald and Jiobu (1985) describe as "positive deviance".
