Having spent a significant proportion of his life incarcerated, Jason N Smith embodies the essence of the Captive Arts project. His work inspires reflection upon the identity that is prevalent ‘beyond bars’ and encourages hope in others. Jason has a poetry collection, Beyond Words (2017) and has performed spoken word nationally.
