My Bio
I am an Associate Professor and Course Director on the Warwick International Foundation Programme. Since joining the University in 2015, I have led and taught on a number of modules including organisational behaviour, marketing, business law, global economics and inquiry and research skills.
Prior to training as a teacher, I was a qualified environmental health officer and worked in a diverse range of organisations such as local government, commercial business providing consultancy services and for the third sector both within the UK and overseas. My commercial background means that I am able to relate business theory to the practical aspects of how businesses operate and succeed. I have completed a Doctorate in Education (EdD), a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Masters of Law (LLM), a PGCE teaching qualification and an undergraduate degree in Environmental Health. I have a keen interest in researching and improving student engagement and student experience, particularly using technology, and supporting and improving international students transitioning onto undergraduate courses.
