Central IT Services have launched an Apple Time Machine backup service for staff users of Apple computers.
This provides a secure and convenient way for Apple users to back up their work. By default this will only back up your work when you are on campus although you can enable remote backups by connecting over the VPN.
This service provides a much more secure backup than using local external drives or similar.
All costs for this service will be met by the central WBS IT budget. If you are interested in using this service please email the central IT Services helpdesk at warwick dot ac dot ukrequesting a '1TB Apple Time Machine network share' and explaining that this is to be charged to the WBS IT budget code.
