Timely WBS System Status information on any issues arising and ongoing incidents is tweeted at http://twitter.com/WBSSystemStatus and repeated as a feed in other places, including this site, and on the display screen outside the helpdesk (behind WBS Scarman Road reception).
Please be aware that there is a regular, weekly 'at risk' period from 07.00-09.00 each Tuesday morning. This is the time that our Internet Service Provider (JANet) performs any necessary maintenance. We and central IT Services also time our planned maintenance work to fit this same window... in short things might sometimes not work during this period.
Staff are emailed if there is an incident that they particularly need to be aware of, but are otherwise encouraged to check the Twitter feed.
Should Twitter not be available information will be made available where possible via my.wbs.
