MINI innovation site visit, Oxford - 24 April 2018

Date / Time :

24 Apr 2018, 09:00 - 12:30

MINI Assembly Plant, Eastern Bypass Road Oxford, Cowley, Oxfordshire OX4 6NL. The site is situated just off the Oxford ring road, approximately three miles from the city centre.

Following KIN's successful innovation site visit to Bletchley Park, we have arranged an exclusive group tour of the Mini plant at Oxford.

BMW and Mini are at the forefront of technological and management practice innovation. We will have an exclusive guided tour of the Mini assembly facility. This will be led by an experienced guide, who will be available to take questions about Mini processes and techniques.

At the end of the tour, we will have a group discussion to reflect on what we have seen and how this might influence innovation practice at our own organisations. Timings are still to be confirmed.

We are limited to 15 participants for this site visit. As we expect this site visit to be very popular, we will initially limit registrations to one participant per member organisation.

Photography and filming is strictly prohibited in production areas. Cameras and mobile phones may not be used and can be placed in lockers. Photographs however may be taken in the Exhibition, which you will visit as part of your tour. Plant tours last approximately 2 to 2.5 hours and lead through different production and plant site areas. The distance covered is up to 3.5 kilometers.

Please wear comfortable and closed shoes. Unfortunately, the plant tour is not suitable for wheelchair users. People with heart pacemakers will NOT be able to join the tour.

Register for this event using this Self Registration Form. If for any reason you need to cancel your attendance, please use the same form and select the cancel option (be sure to give the same email address that you registered with originally). Current delegate list
