The group's members regularly publish in leading academic journals; undertake research council and central bank funded projects; and collaborate with, advise and develop software with central banks and international organisations.
The group contributes to the delivery of a wide range of economics and econometrics based modules at the undergraduate, MBA and Ph.D. level. The group teach a number of modules on the Global Energy MBA. See details here.
With a view to communicating and disseminating research of relevance to the public the group produce quarterly density and probability event forecasts for UK GDP growth and CPI inflation; and have developed a MATLAB toolbox for probabilistic forecasting – PROFOR.
