Helen is currently a third year PhD student in Finance at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick.
She graduated from the same institution in 2015 with a first-class honor master degree in accounting and finance. She became a doctoral candidate in 2015 and was officially upgraded from MPhil to PhD in 2016 with excellent progress.
Her research interests lie in empirical corporate finance, focusing on the use of information in corporate decisions. Particular research areas include analyst forecasts, stock price crash risk, corporate tax avoidance, earnings management, financial reporting and regulations. Her research papers were presented at FMA, FMA European, EFMA, EAA and AAA annual meetings in 2016 and 2017.
