Calling all alumni!

Wherever you are across the world, we'd like to invite you to join us on our Christmas Dress-Down Day 2015.

Could you donate £2 to the Warwick Cancer Research Centre, and join the Warwick Christmas Dress-Down Day from afar by dressing up super-smart, super-casual, or super-festive? Every penny plus Gift Aid goes straight to cancer research - we don't take anything away for administration.

Your donations will help the Warwick Cancer Research Centre, where our academics from all over campus join together to work to beat cancer faster, including:

• Professor Francis Levi, testing the optimal time of day to deliver chemotherapy based on his work on circadian rhythms. The result? Patients receiving treatment at night have fewer reactions and better outcomes.
• Professor Peter Sadler, making treatments more focused and targeted; finding ways to make drugs harmless until they enter the cancer cells themselves. The result? New drugs from metals like ruthenium and osmium, which have shown incredibly promising results.
• Professor Annie Young, trialling rehabilitation programmes for people living beyond cancer diagnosis. The result? Recommendations to the NHS to help cancer ‘survivors’ stay well physically, mentally and emotionally.
