We are seeking to catalyse research that has a transformational effect on how we can address complex global challenges. Bringing together the combined strengths of both institutions we create research capacity that neither university could provide alone.
We are investing in comprehensive support for research from seed funding at incubation stage through to joint-research teams that seek to elevate both institutions to international leadership within a given field. With adjunct and honorary appointments, and a planned visiting fellows scheme to be launched shortly, we are working to link researchers within their field and across disciplines. We are committed to developing a successor generation of internationally experienced researchers and have several successful undergraduate initiatives and a joint PhD program.
We invest in transformational collaborations which tackle world-relevant challenges to deliver outcomes that make a difference.
We support large numbers of small-scale, bottom-up research and networking activities to develop capacity and skills for the future.
Our Alliance joint PhD supports our exciting research and offers a truly international research experience with a degree from two world class universities.
The Monash Warwick Alliance demonstrates the value of collaboration in research, not only between individual researchers, but between institutions. Alliance funding schemes make it possible to workshop potential new research areas with international peers.
