The Indonesian Academy of Sciences (AIPI) launched the Indonesian Science Fund (Dana Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia, DIPI) on March 30 2016, the country's first research funding institution that provides multi-year grants for fundamental and frontier research. DIPI aims to elevate the quality of Indonesian researcg and output value of scientific explorations, by creating a supportive ecosystem for a vibrant scientific researcg community. The establishment of DIPI is supported by the Goverment of Indonesia, United States, Australia and United Kingdom.
Garuda 2045: “Indonesia Presidential Scholarship” is a master & doctoral program initiated by Indonesian government through LPDP using the National Budget for Educational Development (DPPN) managed by LPDP in cooperation with Presidential staff of Republic of Indonesia to study in the world’s top universities.
“Indonesia Presidential Scholarship” (IPS) aims to prepare the golden Indonesian generation through human resources who are well-qualified as leaders or scientists in multiple disciplines to support the vision of Indonesia as becoming a developed country in its 100 years of independence in 2045.
