Welcoming sponsors and scholars

International Strategy and Relations manages the University's externally funded international scholarships portfolio through partnerships with external organisations such as the FCDO, foreign embassies and governments, employers, foundations and other funding bodies. We attract the best, brightest and most diverse international students from across the world to our campus.

We manage over 1000 sponsored students funded by over 100 different international funding organisations and some of the specific services we offer to sponsors include:

• Academic progress reporting
• Bespoke in-coming visits to campus
• Dedicated events for partner sponsors and their scholars.

Our team coordinates bids on behalf of the University to generate additional funding opportunities for current and prospective students.

We meet with sponsors who visit the campus, as well as attend meetings and events based in the UK and overseas. We arrange welcome events and celebrate the achievements of the scholars.
