This day of events, organised by the Institute of Health's Disability Research Group, will include talks on 'Disabled People, Independent Living and Human Rights' and the Disability Equality Duty.

Camilla Parker is an independent legal and policy consultant specialising in mental health, disability and human rights.

2.00-4.00pm

‘From tackling discrimination to promoting equality. The Disability Equality Duty and its implications for research’
by Dr Chih Hoong Sin.

Dr Chih Hoong Sin is Head of Information and Research of the Disability Rights Commission.
