Learn to be an Optimist

Saturday 2nd February 2008, 10:00-16:00, WCE0.9a, Lifelong Learning Building, Westwood Campus

Our health and life satisfaction is to a large degree influenced by our style of thinking.

This day school considers theory and research regarding the role of optimism versus pessimism, and the impact of such cognitions on health and coping in everyday life. Students are encouraged to evaluate their own thinking patterns and increase awareness of the factors that influence their thinking style.

This day school offers the opportunity for students to learn to control their thinking and challenge their negative thoughts.

Course Fee: £27.00 - Places must be Booked Online
