Music Theatre Warwick presents Copacabana

Wednesday 31 January - Saturday 3 February 2007, 19:30

Main Theatre, Arts Centre

In 1947, New York's Copacabana nightclub was at the centre of the glamorous American entertainment circuit, where beautiful showgirls entertained boys newly home from the war.

Set in a colourful fantasy world worthy of an MGM musical, Copacabana brings us a story of passion, fame, and overwhelming jealousy.

We join Tony, a struggling songwriter working at the Copacabana, and Lola, a small-time girl with big plans. Together, they embark on a heart-warming adventure, leading us into the darkest parts of the imagination and back.

A story about following your dreams, Copacabana proves that show business can be more dangerous than you might think.
