From 2008 onwards, the Politics Department, in conjunction with the journal Review of International Political Economy, has hosted an annual Warwick RIPE debate. The next debate will feature Professors Philip G. Cerny and Jan Aart Scholte on 'Rethinking World Politics'. Both are eminent scholars on the role of transnational actors in shaping and governing globalisation and the debate promises to display cutting edge thinking in this area.
