Cycle to Work day on Thursday 4 September

cycle to work logo

Cycle to Work Day is a national event, championed by multi gold medal winning Paralympic cyclist, Dame Sarah Storey, which aims to encourage everyone to cycle to work on Thursday 4 September 2014.

Here are some of the ways you can get involved:

  • Promise to get in the saddle on 4 September by pledging miles for cycle to work day
  • Encourage your friends, family and colleagues to sign up and get involved on your social media pages.
  • If you know a wannabe cyclist in need of a new bike, let them know about the cycle to work scheme.

There are 3 Foffa bikes worth over £1,200 to be won for cyclists that pledge their miles.

Some of the staff from the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC) are taking part to encourage cycling to work and they'll share their #cyclingselfies if you do. Please use the #cycletoworkday hashtag to add to the wider national campaign and keep up to date with the latest goings on.
