HOST- welcoming international students

hostHOST is a national charity which offers visits to a British person or family’s home for a weekend in another part of the country.

If you’re an international student at Warwick (including non-UK European students) you could have a HOST visit. It will give you a break from university life and will let you have a new perspective on British culture.

Many Warwick students have participated in the HOST scheme over the years and the feedback we get from students is overwhelmingly positive about how much they enjoyed their visit.

One former Warwick student said:

The Host UK program is definitely one of those worth applying for during your stay in UK. The unique experience your host tries to provide could prove to be the most unforgettable memory of the UK.”

To find out more and to apply for a visit please go to the HOSTuk website . The University pays most of the cost of your first application, so after you apply you will receive an email from us asking you to pay just £10 of the cost. Day visits are also available for a cost of £6. You can also contact International Support at internationalsupport at warwick dot ac dot uk if you have any questions.
