jobs.ac.uk was created in 1997 by the University of Warwick and the Universities Advertising Group (UAG), with the aim to provide a cost effective alternative to advertising jobs in traditional print media for the Higher Education sector. Since its launch it has grown significantly and today jobs.ac.uk is the top recruitment site in its sector – advertising 40,000 jobs a year for all UK Universities, FE colleges, NHS Trusts, Research Institutes, Government, Charities, Public Sector Employers and Commercial Companies.

Warwick Profiles - CAPITAL Centre

The Centre was established in April 2005 as part of the HEFCE CETL (Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning) initiative. The key idea behind the Centre is that the arts and practices involved in making theatre are closely allied to those that foster the best in many dimensions of teaching, learning and transferable skills. Its core activity is a programme of workshops and seminars which embody the best in performative practice.

Warwick Profiles - Warwick Sport

Warwick Sport is a new structure that was launched in September 2005. This new initiative sees a joint collaboration between the Students' Union and the Department of Physical Education and Sport to increase the sporting opportunities available to all staff and students at the University. Benefits of joining Warwick Sport include access to the sports facilities on campus, insurance for members whilst participating in Warwick Sport activities, access to the sports courses programme and the exercise class timetable that is run throughout the year, access to a free physiotherapy consultation and access to the new Sports Development Programme.

Warwick Profiles - Music Centre

Whilst the University doesn't offer any degrees in music, there's always loads of music going on with around 800 staff and students regularly involved in extra-curricular music-making, including all manner of ensembles, both large and small, orchestral and vocal as well as individual lessons. The Music Centre acts as a facilitator, enabling music-making of all varieties throughout the University and helping to provide facilities, coaching and performance opportunities for anyone that wants to get involved.
