WBS Professor of Marketing & Innovation and Associate Dean (Internationalisation), Qing Wang, is profiled in this week's online Management section of the Financial Times.

Three people connected with Warwick have been made fellows of the British Academy, the UK's national academy for the humanities and social sciences. Professor Carolyn Steedman, Department of History, Professor Alan Norrie, School of Law, and Emeritus Professor Robin Alexander, formerly of the Institute of Education, have received the distinction of being made fellows.

Professor Peter Elias, Institute for Employment Research, has been awarded a CBE in the 2011 Queen's Birthday Honours list. The award comes in recognition of Professor Elias' contributions to social science.

Following an incredibly tough competition, the Warwick Graduate School looks forward to welcoming Matt Stephenson as our Fulbright scholar for the academic year 2011-12. Matt will use the award to study for an MSc in the Department of Economics.

In recognition for his foundational work in the field of social epistemology, Steve Fuller has been appointed to the Auguste Comte Chair in Social Epistemology. Professor Fuller, who has been Professor of Sociology at Warwick since 1999, founded the first journal and published the first book on social epistemology in the late 1980s.
