About us

Warwick has provided a dedicated teaching space in Venice for over forty years, housed in the fifteenth century Palazzo Pesaro-Papafava since 2007. This stunning building, in gothic style, belonged to a rich patrician family who exercised considerable power in political and economic spheres.

Our students

With opportunities across undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the Palazzo will be your base for studies in Venice. With a dedicated Administrator based in Venice, students are supported throughout the application and time in Venice.

Conference Facilities

The Palazzo Pesaro-Papafava is a particularly desirable base for conferences, symposia and workshops, bringing together leading academics on the international stage to formulate new ideas. The centre is a launch pad for collaborative teaching and research programmes.

Without a doubt the term spent in Venice as part of the Renaissance module. I remember seeing the 15th century palazzo near the Grand Canal and thinking if that didn’t motivate me for morning lectures, nothing else would! Phiroza Marker (BA History 2006-09)
