Using the Palazzo - Conferences

Please contact us to discuss dates and availability before planning your conference.

The Palazzo can hold up to 150 participants for an event. The main room holds up to 120 in theatre style seating, while the two smaller seminar rooms hold 50 to 60 people theatre style, or smaller numbers in a round-table layout. The large rooms offer flexibility in layout and can therefore be used for non-traditional teaching methods and other activities such as drama workshops. For more information, please see our floorplan and capacity page.

IT and AV equipment

There are three workstations in the computer room which are available for use, all of which are fully Internet-enabled. A further two workstations are located in the ground floor library and are connected to a printer, but not Internet-enabled. The centre also has wireless broadband internet access in all rooms. Three digital projectors , three laptops, three screens, white board and flip chart are available for conference use. Please indicate any equipment needs you may have when filling out the booking form.

Tea, coffee and drinking water are available at all times. Alternative refreshments can be arranged in advance and delivered lunches can be booked with outside catering providers. There is also a refrigerator on the first floor that organisers are free to use.
