Using the Palazzo - Teaching and Short Courses

Please contact us to discuss dates and availability before planning your event.

The Palazzo can hold up to 150 participants for an event or lecture. The main room holds up to 120 in theatre style seating, while the two smaller seminar rooms hold 50 to 60 people theatre style, or smaller numbers in a round-table layout. The large rooms offer flexibility in layout and can therefore be used for non-traditional teaching methods and other activities such as drama workshops. For more information, please see our floorplan and capacity page.

IT and AV equipment

There are four workstations in the computer room which are available for use, fully Internet-enabled. The centre also has wireless broadband internet access in all rooms. Rooms can be equipped with laptop, digital projector, screen, white board and flip chart as required. Please indicate any equipment needs you may have when filling out the booking form.

Tea, coffee and drinking water are available at all times. Alternative refreshments can be arranged in advance. There is also a refrigerator on the first floor that organisers are free to use.
