Social Programme

The packed programme aims to give you an insight into the musical, gastronomic and cultural variety of the Midlands region.

It includes bhangra, traditional Irish and ska music, fireworks, bollywood dancers, jazz, a huge quiz, a guided coach tour of the local heritage sites – and of course plenty of World Cup Football!

The majority of sessions are open to all conference delegates – but if you are interested in the coach trip on Tuesday night we must ask you to pre-book a seat as places are limited. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Guided Coach Tour

Join a tour of the local area in the comfort of a luxury coach guided by a professional and experienced guide. Highlights will include Warwick Castle, medieval Coventry and a stop-off in a traditional Midlands public house.

You must reserve a place for this activity.

Ska Concert and Disco

The Two Tone Movement of the late 70s and early 80s has its roots in multi-cultural Coventry. The combination of Caribbean ska, rock steady and reggae was fused into the multi-racial Two Tone sound by Coventry bands such as The Specials and The Selecter.
