This one-day workshop explores how the social world of family relationships influences the understanding of family health and genetics (and vice versa).

The workshop is a chance to meet two researchers from the interdisciplinary Morgan Centre for the Study of Relationships and Personal Lives at the University of Manchester, one very eminent (Prof. Jennifer Mason) and one up-and-coming (Dr Petra Nordqvist).

In addition, Dr Anne-Marie Kramer (University of Nottingham) and Dr Felicity Boardman (Warwick Medical School) will also share their research findings in this area. Everyone with an interest in this research area is welcome; the event will be informal, with plenty of room for discussion. Lunch and refreshments will be available.
