I’m making my flight reservations. When should I arrive and depart?

What airport should I fly into?
Any UK airport is within easy reach of the University of Warwick campus. Birmingham International Airport is the closest, being only 30 minutes by taxi. Conference participants will be able to book a place on the free transfer from Birmingham Airport to campus.
London Heathrow Airport is also convenient and the city of Coventry can be reached in just two hours. Participants can either use coach service direct to Coventry Bus Station (Pool Meadow) or a train from London Euston to Coventry Train Station.
How do I book a room?
Conference participants do not need to pre-book their accommodation for the duration of the conference. A room will be pre-booked for you.
Is there any financial support available to cover flight and lodging costs?
Scholarships are available and all applications must be made by 31st March 2013.
Where exactly is the conference located?
The conference will be held on the University of Warwick campus. Please see www.warwick.ac.uk/about for further information.
Will our meals be covered while at the conference?
Yes, for the conference duration all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will be provided.
Will transportation to and from the accommodation be provided?
As the conference and accommodation are within easy walking distance of each other, no further transportation is necessary. Transportation will be provided for the two trips.
Do I have to register for specific sessions?
Nope! All sessions will be offered to all throughout the conference. For a preview of the sessions, please see the programme.
Will I have internet access?
Internet access will be available.
What level of English proficiency is needed to attend the conference?
The conference will entirely be hosted in English. It is expected that participants will have a strong understanding of both written and spoken English.
